Our Investment line of business are currently seeking an experienced Centre Manager to join the team based in our Ed.Square Town Centre and Eastern Creek Quarter retail centres. Reporting to the Senior Centre Manager, the Centre Manager will be responsible for daily operations and management of two greenfield shopping centres. This is a unique opportunity to work on two new greenfield shopping centre developments.

As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:

  • Build relationships with - and deliver exceptional customer service to - the retail tenants, customers, local residents, and other asset stakeholders
  • Liaise with retailers to understand their businesses to drive growth in the centres’ performance
  • Support the delivery and launch of the new Ed.Square Town Centre and future stages
  • Work with the Senior Centre Manager to stabilise the newly launched Eastern Creek Quarter
  • Assist with preparation of annual outgoings, capital expenditure budgets and NOI forecasts
  • Deliver efficient arrears management and expenditure reduction
  • Drive other income opportunities including CML, storage, carparking, signage etc
  • Manage lease administration including Insurance and Bank Guarantee Registers, and Due Diligence Registers
  • Prepare monthly reports on tenant issues, income and expenditure variance, arrears, leasing activity, sales, traffic, operational matters etc
  • Assist the Senior Centre Manager in representing the Landlord on the Building Management Committee

As the ideal applicant you will possess:

  • A current Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of neighbourhood, sub-regional and/or regional Retail centres
  • Experience in working as part of a development team is preferable but not essential
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Highly adept at learning new systems and procedures
  • A high level of written and oral communication skills
  • Well-developed skills in multi-tasking under pressure, negotiating empathetically with various stakeholders, working in a team environment, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work as a self-starter with minimal supervision
