At Frasers Property Australia, we believe that home is a feeling, and a place where community spirit matters . International in scale but local at heart, our reputation and legacy are built on 100 years of Australian placemaking.

When you join us, you become part of an unwavering commitment to excellence, quality, and care. Together, we create stronger, smarter, and happier neighbourhoods that are connected, diverse and sustainable. From large-scale mixed-use developments to renewable energy initiatives, everything we do is designed to enhance the way people live life together.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Accountant to join our Development Finance team with hybrid work options (3 days in the office, 2 days from home). Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will assist the team through the provision of effective financial and management accounting support, with a specific focus on our NSW Development business.

This is a highly collaborative role where you will work closely with project teams to deliver monthly results, divisional forecasts, the annual business plan, and corporate reporting.

How you will make an impact

  • Reporting & Analysis: Assist with month-end and quarter-end processes (including posting journals), prepare and review monthly results, balance sheet reconciliations, and handle quarterly reporting to the Corporate team.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate and timely forecasts are delivered, provide assistance with business unit budgets and analyse project performance of actuals vs. forecast/budget.
  • Commercial Partnering: Provide commercial insight to support the project teams, acting professionally to build trust and relationships across Development and the wider Finance teams.
  • Collaboration & Innovation: Actively participate in driving innovation and continuous improvement across the Finance team.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for sharp, analytical minds who can challenge our thinking and help us see things differently. If you have a solid foundation in finance and a curiosity to learn, you will thrive here.

Instead of prior property experience, we are focusing on the core transferable skills and personal attributes that will make you successful:

  • 1–2 years of experience within a public or large-sized corporate finance team. You possess strong analytical skills, financial rigour, and intermediate-to-advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Degree qualified (major in Business, Economics, or Finance/Accounting) and currently undertaking your CA/CPA or recently qualified.
  • The capability to look beyond the numbers, extract meaning from financial data, and translate actuals-vs-budget variances into helpful business insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the innate ability to build professional relationships, establish trust, and communicate financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • You are a self-starter, a meticulous organiser with great attention to detail, and a true team player who is excited to learn the ins and outs of a dynamic new industry.

Together, we create…

As a property developer, we’re always creating. We believe the employee experience is a valuable asset which needs planning, great design, and a lot of ongoing care. Together, we create:

  • Meaningful Work: A global and diverse business means endless opportunities to work on purpose-led projects in exciting places.
  • Exciting Careers: Growth and learning opportunities, global pathways, and supportive managers who ensure everyone in our business can reach their potential.
  • A Place to Belong: A brand and culture which is known widely in the industry for being purpose-led, customer-focused, and caring.
  • The Right Balance: Work-life balance and an employee wellbeing focus which means you can be at your best.

We offer a high-performance, professional environment where achievement is rewarded. We are proud to be a Work180 Endorsed Employer for all women, an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, and a White Ribbon Accredited workplace.

Don’t quite meet every single requirement but still believe you’d be a great fit for the job? We’ll never know if you don’t hit the ‘apply’ button .
