Drive funding strategy and treasury operations for a leading multinational property group

We are currently seeking a commercially astute Treasury Manager to join our CFO Group. Based in Rhodes, NSW with period days in the CBD office, this is a 12-month fixed-term contract (with the possibility of extension).
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, you will be primarily responsible for securing corporate and project funding for our Australian operations, as well as managing liquidity, cost of debt, treasury operations, and accounting.
This is a highly visible role where you will work closely with our Frasers Property Limited head office in Singapore to provide critical analysis and insights that drive informed executive decision-making.
What you’ll do
Treasury Transactions: Lead the financing workstream for corporate debt facilities and project financing, working with legal and tax advisers to negotiate terms.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead treasury forecasting for new funding requirements and finance costs, delivering key outputs to the Executive Management Team and Singapore head office.
Operations & Accounting: Oversee liquidity and cash pool management, bank guarantees, and loan facility administration (including monthly settlements and fee payments). You will also ensure deals are accurately recorded system and treasury accounts are reconciled.
Strategic Reporting: Support the preparation of Board and Finance Committee reports, delivering insightful commentary to local and global stakeholders.
Leadership: As a member of the Treasury Leadership Team, you will lead, coach, and develop a small, high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring
Degree qualified (Business, Economics, or Finance/Accounting) and CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
Demonstrated knowledge of debt funding products, derivatives, and a strong understanding of financial markets, accounting, tax, and legal issues relating to corporate treasury.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with SAP Software and Treasury Software (such as Reval) is highly desirable.
Experience working in the property industry or on property/financial services clients is advantageous.
You have a high level of accountability over complex processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to succinctly communicate insights from large amounts of data.
