Drive strategic capital transactions and shape our investment portfolio

At Frasers Property Australia, we don’t just create buildings; we create belonging. We are known for delivering exceptional communities with integrity, innovation, and sustainability at the core.

We are currently seeking a highly analytical Commercial Manager to join our Investment & Capital Transactions team. This is a full time, permanent role based in Rhodes, NSW with hybrid work options.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role provides critical financial, analytical, and transactional support to the Capital Transactions team and broader Investments business. This is a diverse and dynamic position where you will be deeply involved in various high-profile projects and transactions, driving value for the business and our partners.

What you’ll do

  • Transaction Origination: Investigate appropriate legal and capital structures for potential acquisitions, liaise with capital partners, negotiate term sheets and transaction legal documents, and support or lead the origination of debt.
  • Financial Modelling: Build accurate and reliable financial models for potential acquisitions and capital transactions (including debt and equity provisions), conduct detailed scenario analysis, and analyse the financial impact of changing forecasts.
  • Transaction Management: Manage ongoing relationships with joint venture capital partners, ensure timely financial reporting, and oversee debt facility obligations and covenant compliance.
  • Strategic Reporting: Prepare internal reports including board and investment committee papers, Information Memorandums, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with external industry personnel (financiers, lawyers, valuers) and coordinate internal teams across finance, legal, tax, and development.
  • Culture & Leadership: Positively and proactively contribute to overall team morale, promoting the company values of being collaborative, respectful, progressive, and real.

What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services and/or property, ideally in investment or capital transactions roles.
  • A graduate qualification in economics and/or property.
  • Strong financial analytical skills and a sound understanding of property valuation methodologies.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) are essential, and financial modelling experience with Argus software (Developer and Enterprise) is highly regarded.
  • You are a confident, self-motivated, and proactive problem-solver with an aptitude for data integrity. You possess the flexibility to work on a number of different matters, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and collaborate effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel.

Why join Frasers Property Australia?

  • Join a collaborative team where you can make a tangible impact on major property transactions.
  • Work in a culture that values growth, continuous improvement, and provides global career development opportunities.
  • Access to health & wellbeing benefits, flexible working arrangements, and additional leave options.
  • Discounts at Frasers including 50% off hospitality and discounts on residential property purchases.
  • An inclusive and award-winning workplace culture.

If you are a strategic commercial professional ready to take ownership of complex capital transactions, we’d love to hear from you.

Don’t quite meet every single requirement but still believe you’d be a great fit for the job? We’ll never know if you don’t hit the ‘apply’ button.
