We are seeking a highly commercial and visionary Acquisitions Director to lead for leading all aspects of sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and executing acquisitions that support the organisation’s strategic growth in the NSW market.

Reporting to the General Manager of Development NSW, you will lead all aspects of our acquisition strategy to secure our future project pipeline. This is a pivotal, autonomous role focused on driving the growth of our NSW development portfolio across residential and  mixed-use asset classes.

Operating with a high degree of independence, you will lead complex negotiations on large-scale transactions. You will be responsible for fostering alignment across our Development, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure deals are executed efficiently and our pipeline objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial models and detailed feasibility studies for all targeted opportunities.
  • Act as the key representative for Frasers Property in NSW, leveraging a deep network of agents, landowners, authorities, and joint venture partners to source competitive deals.
  • Collaborate extensively with internal leaders across Design, Sales, Marketing, and Construction to validate product vision, establish realistic timeframes, and ensure cost assumptions are robust to maximise yield and market appeal.
  • Champion a commercially astute culture, executing all business dealings with the highest level of integrity while providing mentorship to junior staff.

Your Profile

  • Extensive property industry experience originating and executing residential development and land acquisitions within the NSW market.
  • A degree qualification in Property Economics, Valuation, Planning, or a related commercial discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency in development feasibility software (EstateMaster preferred) alongside strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen, underpinned by high-level negotiation, procurement, and financial analysis capabilities.
  • A well-established network and deep industry connections across the NSW property market.
  • Strategic agility, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to drive alignment and build productive relationships across complex stakeholder groups.
