At Frasers Property Australia, we believe that home is a feeling, and a place where community spirit matters. International in scale but local at heart, our reputation and legacy are built on 100 years of Australian placemaking. When you join us, you become part of an unwavering commitment to excellence, quality, and care. Together, we create stronger, smarter, and happier neighbourhoods that are connected, diverse, sustainable, and beautiful. From large-scale mixed-use developments to world-class lifestyle precincts, everything we do is designed to enhance the way people live life together.

The Opportunity

Are you commercially minded, ambitious, and eager to build an exceptional career in property acquisitions? We are seeking a high-performing and visionary Assistant Development Manager to join our NSW team.

Working directly alongside our experienced Acquisitions Director, you will gain unrivalled, end-to-end exposure to the full property acquisition lifecycle - from initial opportunity sourcing and deep market analysis through to due diligence, detailed financial assessment, negotiations, and transaction execution. This is a pivotal role designed for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at combining sharp analytical thinking with proactive relationship building.

In this highly collaborative position, you will help secure our future 10-year project pipeline across residential and mixed-use asset classes, participating in complex negotiations for large-scale transactions and driving alignment across our Development, Finance, and Legal teams to execute successful deals.

How you will make an impact

  • Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Growth: Play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and securing prime development sites to support our NSW strategic growth plan. This includes working closely with a wide network of property agents, as well as directly targeting and approaching landowners to secure multiple properties.
  • Financial Modelling & Feasibility Analysis: Take ownership of detailed financial models and feasibility studies (using EstateMaster) for all target opportunities, conducting rigorous market analysis and due diligence to validate the viability of potential transactions.
  • Collaboration & Internal Alignment: Partner extensively with internal business leaders across Design, Sales, Marketing, Construction, Finance, and Legal teams to validate product vision, establish realistic timelines, verify cost assumptions, and ensure seamless transaction execution.
  • External Relationship Management: Leverage and help expand a deep network of property agents, landowners, statutory authorities, and joint venture partners to source competitive off-market opportunities and strengthen our presence in the NSW market.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience: Proven experience in property development, real estate, land acquisitions, or property investments within the NSW residential/commercial market.
  • Qualifications: A tertiary degree in Property Economics, Valuation, Town Planning, Business, or a related commercial and financial discipline.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen with advanced proficiency in development feasibility software (EstateMaster is highly preferred) alongside excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Mindset: A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the confidence to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and manage multiple competing priorities under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attributes: High attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, and exceptional interpersonal skills to drive alignment and build productive relationships across complex stakeholder groups.
