Shape a better future with a company that builds belonging

At Frasers Property Australia, we don’t just create buildings; we create belonging and places where people can thrive. We’re known for delivering exceptional communities with integrity, innovation and sustainability at the core.

Our Queensland Development team is at the forefront of creating iconic residential projects. To help bring these communities to life, we need a passionate and organised property professional — and that’s where you come in!

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Development Manager to join our high-performing Development team in Brisbane. This is a sought after opportunity to support the completion of our Build-to-Rent project, Brunswick & Co., and contribute to new built-form apartment projects in Newstead and Hamilton.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Development Director, you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for fulfilling supportive Development Management functions across our residential projects. With a focus on customer experience and placemaking, you will help ensure our projects meet the highest standards of safety, cost, time, and quality.

What you’ll do

  • Support the project planning process by monitoring programs and preparing project reports, including cost forecasts and budget information.
  • Assist with the design process by helping to manage external consultants, participating in value management, and exploring sustainable design initiatives.
  • Help the team achieve planning and development approvals in line with project timeframes.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of minor works construction contracts and manage the creation of property titling plans with legal advisors.
  • Support construction management by obtaining authority approvals and overseeing contract management by external consultants.
  • Promote a “customer first” culture by assisting with purchaser queries, variations, inspections, and settlements alongside the customer service and sales teams.
  • Contribute to the sales and marketing strategy by assisting with the delivery of marketing collateral, such as display suites and floor plans.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in the property development industry and an enthusiasm for creating great places for communities.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or industry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proactive, driven, and positive nature.
  • The ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Integrity, honesty, and high ethical standards in all that you do.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft 365, Sharepoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience preparing and managing project feasibilities and budgets.

Why join Frasers Property Australia?

  • A highly awarded workplace culture, recognised by WGEA as an “Employer of Choice for Gender Equality”.
  • Purpose-led culture where you’ll feel connected, valued and supported.
  • Work with a highly regarded Development team on iconic Queensland projects.
  • Flexible work policy, including a hybrid work model for most roles.
  • Generous parental leave policy, including 18 weeks of paid parental leave and paid superannuation.
  • Dedicated learning and development programs to help you grow your skills.
  • Multiple health and wellbeing benefits, plus an additional purchased leave program.
  • Enjoy discounts across the Frasers Property Group, including 50% off hospitality and discounts on residential property purchases.

Build a career that matters.

If you are ready to grow your development career and help shape exceptional communities, we’d love to hear from you.
