Drive our technology strategy and lead enterprise IT operations

At Frasers Property Australia, we don’t just create buildings; we create belonging. We have a reputation for integrity, and our projects seek to maximise customer value by incorporating a focus on quality with industry-leading sustainability and innovative technology.

We are currently seeking a strategic and commercially minded IT Operations and Technology Manager to join our Corporate IT team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Digital and Technology, you will be the driving force behind our daily IT operations, technology strategy, and enterprise architecture.

In this critical leadership role, you will provide the technical vision to complement our business objectives, ensuring system availability, robust information security, and the successful delivery of technology-led business improvements. You will lead a high-performing team and manage key vendor relationships to ensure exceptional IT service delivery across the business.

What you’ll do

  • IT Operations & Service Delivery: Manage the availability of all enterprise systems (networks, servers, unified communications, end-user compute, and applications). Define and manage SLAs, oversee local IT vendors, and drive procurement and lifecycle maintenance of IT hardware and software.
  • Strategic Innovation: Provide the technical vision for the company, developing fundamental technologies that offer a clear competitive advantage. Define standards and methodologies covering development and business architectures.
  • Solution Design & Delivery: Oversee the successful implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they meet robust business requirements, drive end-user adoption, and deliver tangible business benefits.
  • Project Portfolio Management: Manage the delivery of an extensive IT project portfolio covering both technology infrastructure and business applications.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance: Ensure comprehensive information security, manage Business Continuity Planning (BCP), oversee internal and external IT audits, and manage Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes.
  • Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a diverse team (ranging from 3 to 15 people), setting clear standards of excellence and fostering a culture centered on customer service, quality, and risk management.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in a leadership role across Technology, Service Delivery, and Operations Management.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to build relationships and communicate the company's technology strategy to both technical and non-technical senior managers, holding stakeholders to account when necessary.
  • Strategic Execution: A proven track record of using information, resources, and relationships to understand strategic issues and deliver new business processes.
  • Attributes: You are a strategic thinker who leads by example, communicates effectively, and consistently behaves in a manner that supports the broader IT vision and strategy.

Why join Frasers Property Australia?

  • Strategic Impact: Play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape of a leading multinational property group.
  • Inclusive Culture: Join a collaborative environment that values diversity, continuous improvement, and career growth.
  • The Perks: Access to a wide range of health & wellbeing benefits, flexible working arrangements, additional leave options, and generous discounts across Frasers properties and hospitality.

If you are a visionary technology leader ready to drive operational excellence and innovation, we’d love to hear from you.

Don’t quite meet every single requirement but still believe you’d be a great fit for the job? We’ll never know if you don’t hit the ‘apply’ button.
