The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a customer-focused, organised, and proactive Assistant Property Manager to join our team at our spectacular and award-winning Shell Cove coastal development.
Reporting directly to the National Property Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of our residential portfolio (consisting of approximately 150 premium properties). In this critical and highly visible role, you will act as a key advisor to clients, managing leasing process, routine maintenance, and property inspections.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring property management professional looking to grow their career with full support, training, and development in a leading global real estate business.
How you will make an impact
Strategic & Portfolio Care: Assist in maximising rental returns and minimising loss for owners. You will complete market appraisals for new tenancies and renewals, conduct regular property inspections to ensure high standards of care, and assist in arrears and outgoings management.
Collaboration & Relationship Building: Maintain and build strong, positive working relationships with tenants, landlords, contractors, and internal partners. You will act as the first point of contact, ensuring timely and professional communication across all platforms.
Problem Solving & Maintenance Oversight: Review, acknowledge, and resolve tenant maintenance requests on the spot. You will coordinate prompt actions with trusted contractors and use the latest property management and accounting systems (such as Property Tree, IRE and Inspection Express) to solve daily challenges.
Operational Excellence: Manage end-to-end leasing administration. This includes creating attractive online property advertisements, conducting weekly property viewings, processing tenant applications, managing agreements, and ensuring complete compliance with legislative requirements.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, respectful, progressive, and real. You will also bring:
Experience: Ideally a minimum 1-2 years of experience within the real estate or property management industry.
Qualifications: A valid Assistant Agent Certificate of Registration or Real Estate License. A valid Australian driver's license, access to a reliable car, and a current police clearance are required.
Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills. Strong administrative accuracy, attention to detail, basic financial literacy (for rent rolls, invoicing, and arrears), and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Mindset: A positive "can-do" attitude, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
