At Frasers Property Australia, we don’t just create buildings; we create belonging. We are known for delivering exceptional communities with integrity, innovation, and sustainability at the core.

We are currently seeking a commercial and analytical Senior Accountant to join our Development Finance team. This role is based in Rhodes, NSW and offers hybrid working flexibility.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will assist the finance team by providing effective financial and management accounting support, with a specific focus on our NSW Development business.

This is a true business partnering role where you will work closely with the Finance Manager and project teams to deliver results, forecasts, and strategic insights. You will play a key role in understanding the drivers of profitability and advising stakeholders on financial outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly financial results and performance packs for the General Manager, providing commentary on project performance, trading margins, and capital.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead bi-annual project forecasts in collaboration with project teams, delivering accurate analysis and insights into risks and opportunities.

  • Commercial Partnering: Partner with project teams to solve finance-related issues and advise on the financial implications of various project ownership structures.

  • Corporate Reporting: Manage quarterly reporting to the Corporate team for the Executive team and Board.

  • Collaboration: Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the finance team and mentor junior team members.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience, with previous exposure to a public or large-sized corporate finance team. Property industry experience is preferred but not essential.

  • Qualifications: Degree qualified in Business, Economics, or Finance/Accounting, and full CA/CPA membership.

  • Skills: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.

  • Attributes: You are a self-starter and team player with strong communication skills, able to build trust and relationships with stakeholders across the business.

  • Mindset: A track record of process improvement and a desire to grow your career with FPA.

Why join Frasers Property Australia?

  • Join a collaborative team where you can make a tangible impact.

  • Work in a culture that values growth and provides career development opportunities.

  • Access to health & wellbeing benefits.

  • Discounts at Frasers including 50% off hospitality.

  • An inclusive and award-winning workplace culture.

If you are a finance professional looking to apply your skills in a dynamic development environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Don’t quite meet every single requirement but still believe you’d be a great fit for the job? We’ll never know if you don’t hit the ‘apply’ button.
